I was brought to this site by an internet search for relatives.  I have been doing genealogy since 1980, but in recent years, have been doing a lot of research in Norway and Sweden.  My grandfather was born in Drammen, Buskerud, Norway in 1879 and came to the U.S. in 1883 with his parents.   The more I explore my own ancestors, the more I find Swedish and Norwegian roots through the marriages of aunts and uncles.
