Jag är Finska ragdoll uppfödare.Stamnam FIN*Celestial´s

I prefer to continue in english..because it is easier to me. I can understand Swedish but writing Swedish is quite a challange to me :/

So I am Finnish ragdoll breeder Annukka Rintakumpu(-85) and my cattery name was approved by FiFe in 2007. I started to go to cat shows 2005 when I got my first birman he was former stud male and he introduced me to the world of cat shows and cat-people.Meeting all these cat-loving people and these wonderfull cats made me interested also about breeding.

I also finally got my first ragdoll who was a show neuter so I got to know better the breed and standards. I got my first breeder female in 2007 with her I went to cat shows a lot and get to know more to this wonderfull breed.I am very interested about genetics and health of the breed because I am a public health nurse and registered nurse. Getting to know this breed has given me so much joy and challange. At the moment there are many things that I would like to see better in Finnish ragdolls;the size,eye colour and health.There still are many Finnish ragdoll breeders who are not ultra scanning or DNA testing their ragdolls before use in breeding and that is not helping us to keep the breed healthy.

My first ragdoll litter was born in May -07 and there were six allmost-perfect bicolours ;)In my breeding I focus in health, type and charachter. I breed in colours seal,blue,chocolate and lilac with and without lynx. With these two last mentioned colours I think that the ragdoll-look has got weaker and I think that it will be a challange to get chocolate and lilac ragdolls better with type.

At the moment I have 4 adult ragdoll girls Essi,Kiti,Ginger and Vilda,and 5 young girls,I co own 5 males and I own 2 males that are planned to use in my future breeding. Most of my new ragdoll females and  5 males live in foster homes so we dont have all of our cats at home.Also my neutered boys are part of my family and living laid back life with us.Now after long thinking I decided to focus on ragdolls and give up birman breeding,but my 2 birmans live with us as pets.
