Hi, I'll write in English as it's easier for me to express myself, but I completely understand Swedish so don't be scared to write to me I will understand and answer in Swedish.

Anyways I just turned 30 years old and I have 2 little girls that are 1 and 3 years old. I have always been overweight and for the most part ok not overjoyed but ok with it (although have in the past tried diffferent diets), but ever since I've had my girls my weight has gotten away from me and I am not happy in my body anymore. I have tried a little of everything to try to get the weight off and it will work for awhile and then of course the weight comes back with it's friends.. So anyways I have recently decided that I am tired of struggling and trying differnt things to live a healthier lifestyle as I haven't found anything that I can live with for the rest of my life. I just want food to be another part of a day and not an obsession, I want to be able to raise my children in a healthier lifestyle and for them not to inherit this unhealthy obsession and guilt from food and finally I want to be able to enjoy my meal, without feeling guilty or leaving the table unsatisfied and still hungry. I would really like to lose most of my weight and I wouldn't be honest if I didn't say I would like it to go somewhat fast although I'm not going to give up.

I have read quite a bit about lchf and it seems like something that could fit me very well. I don't have a huge sweet tooth so I don't have to fight those battles. I do however feel that I have become very reliant on carbs for meals.. Quite often I would eat sandwhiches when there didn't seem like there was anyting else to eat, we didn't have a dinner without a mound of rice, pasta or potatoes ( what the heck you could eat all the potatoes you wanted for 2 points with WW).. I do however have a couple of apprehensions and I'm sure it's just because it goes against what everyone has taught me since I was a teenager.. you know fat bad whole wheats good.. so it's a lot about changing my way of thinking as well as my diet. I do worry about cholesterol even though from what I've read it's nothing to worry about. so this is my story.. I hope for a happy ending, but don't we all..
